The Yes You Can! BCEN Voucher Program was launched on February 1. The program, in development since June 2016, was piloted with a diverse group of hospitals and health systems through the remainder of the year with great success.
This volume-based purchasing program, now available to all health care facilities, is designed to support hospitals in the purchase of BCEN®specialty nursing certification exams. The online purchasing process has been created to be hassle-free, easy to administer and cost-effective, allowing administrators the option to hand out the vouchers to any eligible RN. Vouchers are valid for twelve months after the date of purchase.
The vouchers can be used for any of the specialty certifications which include Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN®), Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN®), Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN®), Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN®) and Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN®) exams.
